Reiki Animals

Animal Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive method of energy healing that supports your pets overall health and well-being. This healing process is a complimentary therapy that works well in conjunction with veterinary and other holistic animal therapies.

Reiki for animals provides a total body healing system that supports your pet’s health on all levels ~ body, mind and spirit.

If your pet is suffering with chronic pain or dis-ease, Reiki helps to reduce pain, support the body’s natural healing process and, at end of life, aids your pet’s through the transition. Additionally, Reiki helps address your pet’s behavioral issues and challenges. Animals are highly sensitive and respond well to Reiki treatments. Regular sessions provide maximum benefit for your pets total health and well-being.

What to Expect During Your Pet’s Session

Prior to your pet’s first Animal Reiki Healing Session, please complete and return an intake form to provide Linda with detailed information about your pet. Include any concerns, physical conditions, emotional conditions, or behavioral challenges. You or someone familiar with your pet will need to be present and available for the session. Ideally, he or she should be in a confined space for the session. Your pet should be available and ready when Linda arrives.

The average session lasts approximately one hour. As Linda works with your pet, he or she will receive Reiki energy combined with other soft touch energetic healing methods. These techniques help unwind bound energy in the body. Your pet will experience energetic release throughout and following the session as part of the healing process. We ask that you are mindful of this experience and ensure that your pet has down time and access to plenty of water following the session.

Reiki can be performed either hands on or off body with the practitioners hands held just above your pet. In some cases, your pet may initially be nervous or uncertain about the session. This is normal. It may take some time for them to relax into the experience. Additionally, they may be distracted by their guardians and respond more effectively working 1:1 with Linda. If this occurs, she will ask you to step out of the room and will call you back when the session is complete.
